Mr. Bates is a shareholder in , a Florida-based business law firm, and Co-Chair of the firm’s Technology and Entrepreneurial Companies Practice Group. He has written numerous articles about the Internet, venture capital and emerging companies, and has delivered presentations on technology and corporate law to a variety of groups in Florida. Mr. Bates was named “Key Law Partner” for South Florida by the South Florida Business Journal, and has been repeatedly selected as one of the Best Lawyers in America for Technology Law. Among other honors, he has earned an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Bates earned both his JD and MBA from Tulane University. He also received a BSBA from the University of Florida.

Madeline Berges, BS

Ms. Berges is Vice President of Online Marketing and Communications for , one of the world’s leading timeshare companies. A seasoned marketer with more than 23 years of experience in the leisure, travel and tourism industry, she has specialized in online marketing for the past 15 years. Ms. Berges began her career as a marketing coordinator with Royal Caribbean Cruises, where she managed the production of print brochures and videos and fulfillment management. She later served as Marketing Manager with the Cruise Line International Association and Cunard Line, managing each organization’s website and implementing enhancements for improved usability, functionality and interactivity.

He is Research Co-Chairman for the Search Engine Marketing Professional Organization (SEMPO), and has previously served as President of the American Marketing Association South Florida Chapter and Founding Board Member of the South Florida Internet Marketing Association. Ms. Cattell served as an instructor at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and as a case writer for the university’s Darden School of Business, and has also taught at Central Michigan University. She is the Founder and past President of the Dallas/Fort Worth Interactive Marketing Association and the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association.

Todd Farmer, BA

Mr. Farmer is Founder and CEO of , which encompasses a media network of distribution entities and a marketing and technology consulting firm. He previously founded Kowabunga! Marketing, Inc., which began as an email marketing software company in 1996. Mr. Farmer redefined his business in 1998, becoming one of the first affiliate tracking and management software providers with the introduction of The Affiliate Program (TAP) software. He later rebranded the company’s software as My Affiliate Program (MYAP) and expanded the business to offer affiliate marketing consulting and management. In 2001, Mr. Farmer debuted Kolimbo – The Open Affiliate Network, which served as a portal for affiliates and merchants to connect, partner and succeed within a simple interface. In 2005, he sold Kowabunga to CGI Holding Corporation. In addition to his current work with PerformStreet Media, Mr. Farmer also volunteers his marketing services to philanthropic organizations.

Mr. Griffin is the founder of Man of Action Metrics, a Nashville, TN web consulting firm that currently manages over 150 community and regional websites as well as two national brands. He got his start in PPC and SEO, helping to set the standard for local automotive search. Mr. Griffin transitioned to digital analytics as he sought ways to increase ROI from web presence. Mr. Sass has been active in the mobile industry since 1998, when he co-founded publicly traded mobile commerce pioneer BarPoint.com; later, he became the company’s CEO. Under Mr. Sass’ leadership, BarPoint had a UPC/barcode-based mobile shopping and information service "on deck" with AT&T, Sprint, Nextel, Cingular and Verizon as early as 2000, and later supported dedicated mobile storefronts for The Sharper Image and Office Depot. Since 2007, Mr. Sass has been VP of Business Development and Chief Evangelist for Myxer, a leader in mobile entertainment with more than 35 million users. He frequently speaks at industry events and serves on the Mobile Marketing Association’s (MMA) Education and Advocacy Committee. Mr. Sass is a founding board member of Mobile Monday Miami (MoMo Miami) and a founding member of the Mobile Internet Content Coalition (MICC).

Mr. Seepersad is Corporate Counsel for , the nation’s largest exclusive online facilitator of degree and certificate programs from the country’s leading universities. In this role, he has personally negotiated hundreds of diverse and complex Internet marketing agreements. Prior to joining Bisk Education, Mr. Seepersad practiced law at Fowler White Boggs Banker, one of Florida’s oldest and largest private law firms. His practice included litigation, software licensure, and both professional and industry-focused regulatory compliance. His view of the legal issues involved in the Internet marketing arena has been heavily shaped by his private practice experience.

Mr. Seepersad holds a JD from the University of Miami School of Law, as well as a BS in Exercise Physiology and an MS in Human Resource Development and Administration from Barry University.

Brent Shiely, BA, MBA

Mr. Shiely works for one of the largest consumer product companies in the United States, General Mills, helping migrate a $600 million advertising spend toward Internet-related campaigns. Early in his career Mr. Shiely trained people to become Microsoft Certified Solution Developers and Microsoft Certified System Engineers. At Microsoft, Mr. Shiely assisted the Digital Media Division (later to become a part of the Windows Client team) with platform services like Windows Media. Mr. Shiely successfully consulted with entertainment organizations including Universal, MGM, EMI, Sony and others to incorporate the Windows Media solution into their consumer Internet efforts. He also helped with one of the first mobile multimedia players written for Microsoft’s mobile operating systems. In 2005, Mr. Shiely joined Digital River, a leader in downloadable software ecommerce outsourcing, and helped with digital distribution of Microsoft Office 2007. Microsoft has since sold over $1 billion in software through Digital River.

Mr. Shiely has a BA in Marketing from St. Louis University and two MBAs – one from UCLA and the other from the University of Singapore.

Mr. Straschnov is Vice President for Strategic Development and General Counsel/Corporate Secretary at , a leading online education technology and marketing services company. He oversees legal matters including Internet advertising and marketing, state and federal regulatory compliance, product and service contracting, customer agreements, new business development and intellectual property. Mr. Straschnov previously served as General Counsel for a business technology integration services provider, and was President and Principal of an Internet publishing startup company. He also had a commercial litigation private practice for a number of years and served as an Associate County Attorney in Sarasota, Florida. He was a contributing member of the teams that created the first content site for AOL, developed the world’s first transactional ecommerce system, built the first B2B extranet EDI solution, won the first Gold Clio ever awarded to a website and most recently launched the first mobile application platform that functions on 90% of mobile handsets in the U.S.

Mark Wenzowski, BA

Mr. Wenzowski is the founder and current President of CELLGHOST Mobile, a full-service mobile marketing agency located in Tampa, Florida. He has dedicated the past five years to pioneering the mobile marketing discipline and has been instrumental in building mobile marketing as a strategic marketing channel by proving its value to a range of clients, from wireless carriers, to agencies, to consumer marketers. An entrepreneur and builder, Mr. Wenzowski has specific expertise in business development, strategic client management and consumer marketing. He is currently a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization.

Mr. Wenzowski graduated from Kent State University with a BA in Communications and Marketing.

Robert C. White, BS, MBA, JD

Mr. White is an equity shareholder at , a Florida-based business law firm. An attorney within the firm’s Technology and Entrepreneurial Companies Practice Group and Corporate Practice Group, he provides strategic counseling to business entities, entrepreneurs and executives in the areas of technology law, venture capital and private equity law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance law, corporate governance, and general business, corporate and financial law matters. Mr. White previously served as General Counsel at Cenetec, LLC, a prominent technology “accelerator” company and business incubator. Prior to that, he was a partner at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart (now K&L Gates). He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Enterprise Development Corporation.

Mr. White holds a JD from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of The University of Miami Law Review. He earned both an MBA in Finance and a BS in Biology from Emory University. He is a member of the Florida Bar.

Ms. Zirkelbach earned her degrees – a JD, an MBA and a BA in International Business – with honors from Stetson University. She is a member of the Florida Bar and a Board member of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association.
