The University of San Francisco is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and was unconditionally reaffirmed for the maximum seven years during its most recent review. A founding member of WASC's antecedent, the Western College Association (WCA), USF was first accredited in 1950.
USF's School of Business and Management is accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the premier accrediting body for business schools. The Masagung Graduate School of Management's MBA program was granted accreditation in 1981, while the McLaren College of Business has held AACSB accreditation since 1953.
